Hello.
My wife is a new Mac user, she has a Powerbook G4 and installed OS X 10.4 and it was running great. It froze once while shutting down so she held down the power to shut it down. When she tried to restart, it froze in the startup screen with the spinning wheel.

I have restarted many times and cannot get it to boot. I've run disc utility and it says that there's an error.

Keys out of order
rebuilding catalog B-Tree
The volume Mac HD could not be repaired

The underlying task reported failure on exit

1 HFS volume checked
1 volume could not be repaired because of error
Repair attempted on 1 volume
1 volume could not be repaired

So I deceided to reinstall the OS but when it asks me to pick a disc, there are none that show up in the window.

Please Help
