Please help: downloads!!

I have a Macbook Pro that has OS X and plenty of memory. I just downloaded a MMORPG game file to my mac. I go to the install file DnLInstall.exe, but when i try to open it a little box pops up with a lot of nonsense text and computer coding on it. At the top it says, "this document cannot be opened in DOS mode. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.:(
