Photo and Adding Text ?

Hello

I save to the desktop a photo.

I then do Annotate/Text and add a small amount of text to it.

Then I Save it.

All works fine.

But if I pull up the photo again, I can again add new text to it.
No problem.

But I cant find ant way to edit or delete the older text that I
originally added.

Is there some way ?

Hello and welcome.

Unfortunately, no. Annotations become a "permanent" part of the file once they are saved.

But, Preview does have versioning. You can look at File > Revert To... > Previous Save or Browse All Versions... That won't let you go back and edit a previous annotation, but you can remove it and start fresh.
