Hi there,

I am new to using an Apple Mac book and still figuring a few things out.

I am trying to install a stand alone virtual PDF printer on the Mac (similar to Adobe PDF printer or Cute PDF printer), however I cannot seem to find one. I know that the Mac has a built in function to print to PDF, however this is not sutiable for me as it is not "shareable" via remote connections.

I use the Mac book when connection to a Virtual server with runs Windows, I then need to print documents on the Virtual Server to PDF. When using my windows PC I was able to print directly to the PDF printer on my PC as it appeared as a "Redirected" printer when working on the virtual server.

I hope that this makes sense, I look forward to some assistance.

Hello and welcome.
  • Which exact model Mac?
  • Which version of macOS?
  • How are you connecting to the Windows virtual server?
