Using IPad Pro and Sidecar to mark up pdf documents (adobe acrobat)

I will be using two screens during a 4 month distance learning project. I have tried to use side car to mark up practice physics problems using Apple Pencil 2. No luck using the pencil for this. I have used the pencil in pages app on my iPad but no luck using with a Sidecar document. Any idea where to start? My begin date is November 15 (about a month)

Hello and welcome.

I don't have access to a Mac and iPad with Sidecar and Apple Pencil 2 compatibility. I do know it can be a bit tricky, and not all third-party apps will work.

Use your iPad as a second display for your Mac with Sidecar

Hopefully another member has experience with it and will chime in.

You can use the sketch command with PDFs Rightclick on document, go to services, and then sketch.
