Paisley type screen

My mid 2010 Mac Pro has a digitized paisley pattern on the monitor and is non- responsive. It will start in safe mode but is really slow and not everything works. Help.

Hello and welcome.

Normally, that is caused by a failing graphics card. Can you upload a screenshot of the issue?
