Old Software

I'm trying to clean out things I don't need. Can I throw away old software like older versions of CS? I'm using CS5 so why would I need to keep older disks as well as the application installed on my computer? thanks

I would say you don't need CS on your computer. If you have the install discs, I would just erase it from the drive if you have CS5. You never know, however, when you may find something incompatible with CS5 (it is supposed to be backwards compatible, but I've seen newer software not be able to open older) so you should keep a back-up just in case.
