New Folder

When I click on FILE from the Menu Bar I do not see "New Folder". Will some kind person please tell me how to get a new folder.

Is this in Finder? If so Shift + Command + N should do the trick.

What Mac OS are you using? I am using the latest version of High Sierra (OS 10.13.6), and also am running the latest version of Mojave (OS 10.14.2) on an external SSD, and it is there when I click on the File menu title. But as Lufbrarunner stated, the Shift + Command + N keystroke shortcut will work.
