After a number of decades on that other kind of computer (going back to DOS 2.2) I have jumped to a MAC Book. I am having great confusion over passwords and would very much like to have ONE password for all Apple related functions on the MAC-itunes, App store, iCloud and whatever else there is that I have not discovered.

Suggestions on how to reset all passwords to one easily recalled one. Obviously, will need to avoid the very annoying message that precludes all previously used passwords.

Thanks in advance,

Jim Betts

Hello and welcome,

All of the Apple services you listed do use the same Apple ID/password, unless you used a different email address to setup your iTunes and iCloud accounts:

Manage your Apple ID

-What version of OS X?
-Do you have multiple Apple IDs?
-What kind of issue are you having exactly?

We'll see if we can help you out.
