Name change

So I had to change my login name (using CNTL on User and Groups) on my Mac to match my iPhone and iCloud name. It's a Joseph Blow versus Joe Blow kind of deal. My login name changed easily, but my personal User folder stayed with the old name. How do I change that to the new name?

Turned out to be a lot easier to change my iCloud name.

Hello,

The name you changed (Full name) was the display/long name, which can be easily changed. The short name (Account name), or name you see in the Users folder is the account name, which isn't easily changeable since it is what the system recognizes you as and holds your user's permissions.That is why it is greyed out in Users and Groups using the process you went through.

By changing your iCloud name, did that make the change you wanted?
