Maverick X Internet Connect Issues

After updating Safari, web pages were white and wound not load. Internet settings all green and working on all other devices except iMac. Loaded Maverick X. Able to load a few bookmarks like FB and gmail, but manual type of websites not loading. I'm using modem and netgear router over wi-fi. Any suggestions? Thank you.

are you using the latest Mavericks Safari update 7.0.4 this update improves stability, compatibility, and security issue.

Have you tried the Safari reset button, find it under Safari in the bar Safari reset, it clear all settings (you can keep you book-marks and passwords).

you can also try google Chrome, or Firefox to see if it is just a Safari problem
