Reinstall mavericks

Re install OS X instructions on Mac help make no mention of non Mac items (printer, scanner etc)

Do I have to reinstall these separately ?

A short circuit occurred whist I was using my Mac & it seems simplest to re install

Once re-installed, any updates for printer/scanner drivers should show up in your App Store updates.

Thank you. I had to reinstall when I was using Tiger (everything was on disc then) but I could not recall having to install my printer etc manually
