Mail, iTunes & Calendar launching at login

I have the new Macbook Pro w/ Retina display. When I turn on my laptop, my email calendar and itunes automatically launch. When I double click the icon and go to options, 'open at login" is NOT checked. I have checked them and restarted, then unchecked and restarted again, and it still does it. Please help im about 6 seconds away from chucking it out the window...

Hello and welcome.

Two things that should correct the issue:

1. In System Preferences > General, check the box next to Close windows when quitting an application.
2. When you logout/shut down, in the dialog box that pops up, uncheck the box next to Reopen windows when logging back in.

Let us know if that doesn't fix it.

Or hold down the mouse on the Dock Icon until its Menu pops up and under Options, uncheck Open on Login.
