Lightning hub?

I'd like to expand one lightning connector to several. ALL of the "lightning" hubs I see advertised convert ONE LIGHTNING connector to a whole manner of OTHER INTERFACES. Geez. USB hubs that expand USB connectors are a dime-a-dozen. Pointers?
