SOLVED IPod sync with new computer

Just recently I bought a new iMac desktop, and moved my iTunes library over from my old iMac, but when trying to sync new songs to my iPod I get the message stating that this computer is no longer authorised to play items purchased from iTunes store. When I try to authorise the iPod it asks me to enter a code which was sent to my old computer, which I no longer have ! Can anyone advise me how to fix this, or can a factory re set of my iPod fix this problem ?

you can use another way to authorise this device like send text message to registered Mobile number before applying this check and apply latest software updates on your both devices.

How and what should I send to my mobile number, please ?
