Syncing videos to iPod Nano (6th. generation )

Hi,
I wonder if anyone can help with this problem. I've been trying to add a video to my iPod, but so far without success. The video loaded into my iTunes fine, and can be watched that way, but for some reason it does not show up on my iPod ! Is there a particular format that the video should be in for iPod use, or is it something I'm not doing ? I've checked all the sync boxes and pressed "apply" but it doesn't seem to make any difference. I did manage to load a youtube music vid to my iPod, but other than that it doesn;t seem to work.
If anyone could help I'd be most grateful.

Try this:

1. Select the video in the iTunes list
2. File > Create New Version > Create iPod or iPhone Version
3. Sync the new version to the iPod via the Movies tab
