iphone 4 sync problem

Hi all, hope you can help...

I have just updated to itunes 10 with today's auto update and then went on to sync my iphone4. Phone went into an error1300 loop then after resetting default settings, itunes will only allow restore NOT sync. Looked at several threads online and none seem to apply. Phone appears to be working fine and am attempting to download apps via cloud but really need to fix sync issue

Try this:

1. Quit iTunes.

2. Start an elevated command prompt (Start Menu -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Right Click "Command Prompt" -> "Run as Administrator")

3. Once in the command prompt, type "netsh winsock reset" and hit ENTER.

4. Reboot your machine.

5. Restart iTunes.

Thanks Molly - I am using an iMac on Snow Leopard, I think your fix is for PC? Thanks for taking the time anyway, I think this is a fairly common problem...
