I'm trying to install a Wacom tablet on Sierra 10.12.6 and not having much success.
I've seen some methods that work around the input monitoring tab in the privacy settings, but this is missing on my mac.
Is this normal for this OS?

Hello and welcome.
  • Which model Mac?
  • Which model Wacom tablet?
  • Which version of the Wacom software?
I believe that the Security & Privacy > Privacy > Input Monitoring may not have been added macOS until Catalina.

Thanks - got it working.
Seems the privacy setting will not 'see' the device in the Wacom program, but you can access it from 'system preferences.'
(This is the price you pay, I guess, for running an older OS.)

Pretty sad that an actual Mac 'tech' couldn't tell me that in chat.

;)

It was just a guess on my part, but I know there were a lot of security additions starting around Catalina.
