iMac / iPhone Sych problem

When I used to plug in my iPhone to the Mac the iTunes automatically opened and the backup / synch started.

Now when I plug in nothing happens. It doesn't seem to even recognize the iPhone. Did something in my settings change??

I'm running OS X YOSEMITE 10.10.5

Hi Bill,

Would be good to know which iPhone you are using, also when you connect the iPhone to Mac is it unlocked and on the home screen?
