Can I use iCloud with Snow Leopard on my Macbook 10.6.8?

No, it rated for 10.7 or higher.

But there are some hacks and work around for some services.
The problem is that Apple may disable those at sometime in the future, as they did with Messages on 10.7.

Thanks for your very quick, helpful response. I assume this means I may need to move to Mountain Lion an OS that seems to attract bad press?
