I have a G5 iMac with IBM processor with Safari 5.0.6 and OS X 10.5.8 (Leopard).
Somehow I managed to do something that caused the address bar to disappear! Can't figure out how to get it back so can't use Safari.
If you can help--wonderful!
BUT......I am woefully ignorant about technical issues. I only use computer for email and websites.
PLEASE be as specific as possible and use plain English.
Thanks for your help.

Hello and welcome.

-Can you still see your Bookmarks bar?

To "see" the URL address bar again, when in Safari:
1. Click on View in the menu bar
2. Click Show Toolbar

That should set it back to normal. I f it doesn't, let us know and we can get a little more information from you to determine other solutions.

Thanks, Cory
I clicked on View and there was no Show Toolbar. However there was a Customize Toolbar. I dragged Add Bookmark, Address and Search into the space under Apple at the very top. That did it!
Thanks again.

Was there Hide Toolbar? It should show Show or Hide Toolbar at the very top, just above Customize Toolbar...

When you clicked Customize Toolbar... the address bar popped up, correct?

Anyway, glad it's back and working again.
