How to use soundboard as a microphone

Hey guys I have a question. Well I would like to know if it's possible to use the soundboard as a microphone. It would be really useful to me since I could record every sound on the computer and even be able to play them while a conversation over skype, for example. I don't know if you see what I'm talking about but help would be greatly appreciated. I am new to Mac and I used to do it on my PC so I guess there are strong chances that it can be done on a Mac. Only I need to know precisely step by step how to do it. Thank you !

I have and iMac 2.66GHz Inter Core 2 Duo with Mac OSX 10,5,4
