I've just tried to install Classic, on my iMac G4 with MacOS X 10.4.11. I bought this Mac from eBay and didn't have any CD with it so I downloaded the Classic from torrent. The instruction said to unpack it all and to copy the System Files folder to root. So I did, I logged out, logged in, opened System Preferences, Startup, and saw two System Folders: the X, and the 9.
I've chosen to reboot from 9.
The problem is that it hasn't and I'm left with a pale blue screen with a flickering folder_icon/finder_icon
when I try holding down OPT it shows me another blue screen with only two icons which probably mean retry and cancel
however none of them does works
