Help me please

Hi, i have an imac osx 10.1.5 And i went to the startup disc menu in system prefs and restarted in os9 accadently. It asked me to fill out a form wich i did half of then I thought pressing the restart button on the side of my mac would restart it in osx but now all it goes to is a question mark and a flashing happy mac guy on a folder. I don't have the orignal discs to redo it is there any way i can fix it?

try rebooting and hold down the 'x' key...
