I'm sorry if this is in the wrong section

I have just bought an Intel iMac to use mainly for web designing. I have set myself up with Dreamweaver and NVU as HTML editors, so I am ok on that front, although DW is only a trial at the moment.

Anyway, my question is: what FTP client do you recommend I use?

I used to use WS_FTP on my PC, and want something similiar - including it being free! - for my iMac. I've been struggling to find a free one.

Anyone got any suggestions?

Thanks :)

Hi there,

I use an assortment.. Fetch and Transit being just two...

If you want 'free' then you can use Automator and create your own workflow...

...you will need to download this FTP action for Automator...

Let me know if you need any pointers...

regards

Go

I HIGHLY recommend Panic's Transmit. It's by fay the best FTP client I have used to date. A close second - Stairway's Interarchy. They both support WebDAV, which makes interacting with your iDisk lightning fast versus using the Go command in the Finder.
