Event has memory

A couple of days ago I wanted to create an event in my Mac's calendar app. I grabbed an old one from last month and copied it to a new date, changing its name, location, and time.

It looked correct. But today I got a notice on my phone with the old name, location, and time (but today's date). Weird. My calendar looks correct, but that notify message was confused.
