Emails opening when launching MAIL

Everytime I open MAIL, all the emails in my inbox open up in a new window. What's going on? My scanners can't find a virus. Is there an option somewhere I might have enabled???

Hello,
Check Mail-Preferences-Rules to see if there are any scripts (rules) running that may be causing this.

The only Rule is "News From Apple" which would not cause the emails to open.

I'm not familiar with any option that would cause this automatically. You could try moving the "Mail" folder from your library and the "com.apple.mail.plist" from your Library/preferences to your desktop, opening the Mail app and see if this helps. Of course, you'll have to reset your preferences. If it doesn't work, you could throw these both in the trash and return the originals to their original location.
