I have a MacBook Air 2017 and I would like to connect my older MacBook Pro 2011 so that I can have dual screens at home. What do I need to?

Hello and welcome.

Unfortunately, there isn't any way to use a MacBook Pro screen as a second display for your MacBook Air. There was a function called Target Display Mode, but that was only available on certain iMac models.

Use your iMac as a display

Sorry,
