emails from my 'Air' are being recorded twice under 'Sent', yet recipients receive the emails, quite correctly, once only. I'm not aware of having altered anything, can anyone advise please?

Need some more information:

1. What exact Mac OS are you running?

2. What exact MacBook Air model do you have? (I have a mid 2017 13" 256 gig model, and am not having such issues).

3. What EMail program are you using?

4. When did this start happening? Did you install any software around that time?

5. What happens when you send EMails not through your ISP's mail server, but say via gmail.com or hotmail.com?

Thanks for your response. My replies as your numbering.

1.MacOS High Sierra - Version 10.13.6

2. MacBook Air [13 inch 2017]

3. Hotmail

4. No record of a start, but no new software installed for some time

5.All my emails go through hotmail.com. I've not tried any other server.

Well, I just went on hotmail.com, sent a message to my comcast account, and it only appeared once (as expected/normal) in the Sent box.

Just out of curiosity, what browser are you sing? I use Google Chrome. Would not expect it to be an issue with your browser. Maybe problems with your ISP?
