Hi, I'm new to the forum and not quite certain where to post my concern; so I'll place it here for the time being. Since my latest upgrade, I having difficulty typing emails or anything else as the speed is tremendously impaired. Initially, I see a swirling symbol which appears on my screen before even the first pre-typed letter appears. Altogether there is a 60-90 second delay before normal typing is permitted. Any suggestions as to remedy? Thanks, Frederic

We need to know the following:
1. The exact Mac model you are using.
2. The exact version of the Mac OS you are running under.
3. Are you making any backups to an external device?
4. Do you have any anti-virus software on your machine?
5. Do you have either MacKeeper (real, real BAD!), or CleanMyMac?
6. How much free space is left on your internal drive?
7. Have you been performing any disk cleanup/maintenance at all, and preferably on a "regular" basis?
Al of this is definitely helpful for trying to solve your issue.
