Desktop Camera Freeze on Zoom/GM/FT

iMac Late 2013 21.5 inch 2.7GHz i5
OS 10.15.7
16GB RAM
Spectrum Internet (200 Mbps)
Spectrum Modem
Asus Router

My desktop camera freezes my image using any meeting app: Zoom, Google Meets, FaceTime, etc.
Sometimes the image may be fine for a bit and then freeze up, and sometimes it freezes immediately.
The other parties on the call do not freeze.
I've tried using a Logitech external camera and it does not change anything.

This usually does not happen if I reboot just before I launch one of the meeting apps.

• Does the camera work in other applications - iMovie, Photo Booth, etc.?
• Are you having any other issues when not using the camera - hanging/freezing/kernel panics?
• How much free space is left on the drive?

Yes, the camera does appear to work properly in non-internet related apps.
No other issues.
I have 540GB free on a 1TB drive.

• Does the issue occur in all Internet browsers - Safari/Chrome/Firefox?
• How often do you restart?
• Does it happen as well if you are streaming video, gaming, or doing anything processor-intensive?
• What peripherals do you have connected?
• Have you tried: Use Apple Diagnostics to test your Mac

It could possibly be an overheating issue.
