Problems with attaching photos to email. Using iMac Desktop BigSur O/S

When using National Garden website to post some of my landscape flowers etc. I am having issues uploading the photo images.

Is there a restriction on the image size? It may be a problem of the file size of the photos. Tried making them smaller? Just a thought.
