Deleted application wont go away

I downloaded a theme that made my background applications transparent and didn't like it. So I deleted it and emptied my trash, but the the transparency is still there. Now it's driving me crazy because it's making it a pain to have two applications open.

This is what it looks like:

Help me get rid of it please.

Ok what i would do is try to reinstall it and first see if it has an uninstall file. If it does not I would use appdelete to get rid of it it will look for all the files that belong to the program you installed and delete it.

Thanks but as far as reinstalling it goes, i dont even remember what it was called because I didn't really think much of it at the time. I just downloaded appdelete and it says to drag the application I want to delete there, but since I no longer have it, it wont work

look in your libraries both the user and the main one in the folder Application Support and see if you see the name of the app there you can delete it from there or in might get you the name so you can download it again

all so you can look in your system preferences and see if it add an app icon under other..

Hi,
You could consider deleting the app that the theme is attached to & then reinstalling the app.
