I like the fact that I get notifications from my calendar that tomorrow is someone's birthday.
I can make that notification snooze, but none of the options are "snooze until tomorrow" (when I wish to text that person).
(I don't know what "automatic" means here).

Can I change calendar so that it notifies me in the day of the birthday?

Thats an easy one..

In the Calendar app go to the Preferences (Settings on Ventura) and then click on Alerts. You will see an option for Birthdays. Click on the dropdown menu and change it to On day of event (9AM)

It didn't work. Maybe I need to reboot. (and wait for the next birthday to test)

Not sure if this is relevant. You have 'At time of event' also checkmarked. What other options are there for that. If there is a 'none' try changing it to that.

I wouldn't think it is relevant. But I changed it and will await the next birthday to see what I get.

One thing that you can do is look in your calendar for the next Birthday. Right click on the birthday event and select Get Info. It should show the Alert time as the default.

I found my problem. I have another Internet account that had contacts accepted. Somehow the same contact was there twice with different settings. I don't know how to change the alert on my Google account, but just turned off contacts with it.
