Default Startup program

Is it possible to start a iMAC(OSX) and have the Mail application opene automatically as part of the startup?

Hi there and welcome !

Yes it is.

Go to your System Preferences--> Accounts

Click on your Account in the left hand side...then click on the tab that says "Login items"...

Then click on the + sign and navigate to the Mail App in your Applications folder.

Now when ever you login Mail will start up.
