Customizing the iPad Start Page Using the MacBook Pro Start Page Settings?

I customized the Start Page on my iPad (7th generation) (iPad OS 15.5) using the Safari preferences. I later learned that I could customize the Start Page on my MacBook Pro (mid-2014) (macOS Big Sur 11.66), and if I ticked the box “Use Start Page on All Devices,“ the appearance of the MBP Start Page would flow through to my iPad and iPhone looking pretty much exactly as it does on my MBP.

In fact, the MBP settings do flow through to my iPhone (iPhone SE, iOS 15.5) perfectly.

Question: What settings must I revert to on my iPad so that the MBP Start Page flows through to it the way it does on my iPhone?
