Black screen iPad 2018 6th

Hello,
My iPad is not displaying anything its just black screen. I've tried to updated and restored my iPad via iTunes but while i do it i received a massage that i have to use the latest iTunes version which i already have so could not able to preform.
the iPad shown the background light but not display at all and recognized by the computer and iTunes as well.
Please advise.

Hello and welcome.

When it is powered on, try shining a light on the screen at an angle. If you can see anything, then the iPad is working and the screen needs replaced, as the backlight has failed.
