Connecting storage

I'm about to purchase a new Mac Mini and want to connect a 2012 Mini to the new unit for use as storage. What's the best method for that?

One easy way to use your 2012 Mini as storage is by setting it up in Target Disk Mode. You'll just need a Thunderbolt or FireWire cable to connect the two Macs. Once connected, you can access the older Mini's drive directly from the new one. Super handy for extra storage!
