can't send Mail

Hi! I have a POP email account (through my webhost), and receive mail in Mail, but can't sent. My ISP is AOL, and it seems that my smtp settings are at issue. I've tried many configurations, but nothing seems to work. What should they be?

i have same problem it might be the PORT number i have still to contact my ISP VIRGIN MEDIA having communication problems with call centre i am Scottish there Indian
