Can't get mac to boot

Hello Machelp, i posted earlier about getting data off a mac that won't boot.

Well after i found a solution and re installed OSX, the Mac still won't boot!
It gets stuck on the greyish screen with the logo and the spinning load circle.

Some of the things i've done -
Remove Battery and Hold Down Power Button
Attempt to boot to safe mode
Hardware Diagnostic - passes
Hold control+p+r
Run the disc utility

I'm not sure what else i can do with this thing.

Have you tried booting from original disks?

The client says he lost the cds, i couldn't find where to buy replacements from apple.
