Black Macbook 2009 Penryl completely unresponsive, won't turn on

I've got a black 2.4ghz a1181 macbook. Its bezel, keyboard and battery had previously been replaced. It's been left a few years and now doesn't turn on at all!

Battery doesn't charge, light at the front doesn't light up and no fans spin at all. When mains is plugged in it goes from green to orange meaning that its trying to charge the battery but it doesn't.



Any advice on what to try?

-Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac

Hi apologies for the late reply, no these do not work as the macbook does not turn on at all, tried both of these without any response

No worries.

Sounds like the logic board, MagSafe board, or top case has failed. You can try removing the battery and see if it powers on then.

Tried this and again nothing? If it is the magsafe or logic board is there anyway of fault finding? Perhaps with a multi meter
