SOLVED Best backup for OS 10.4

I understand that the time machine app. was first available with OS 10.5. I'm running some old applications for OS 9 on my G4 Power Book (via the Classic environment). That Mac runs OS 10.4. What's the best option for backing up that system if time machine is not available?

There are third-party backup apps like Carbon copy cloner and Superduper.
