Anyone know what 'SubmitDiaginfo" does it seems to be a memory Hog.

wondered why my mac was slowing down, so I opened activity monitor and saw this 'Root' thing, and was shocked by the amount of memory it was hogging,

389.32 GIG... wow.

does anyone one what it does. and what I can do about it hogging memory and why it doe that.

Mine is very similar:

It isn't affecting anything on my Mac mini. I will look into it a bit further and let you know if I find anything additional.
