I've recently moved. Before moving my Airport Express was working perfectly with my cable/DSL modem... although it was a gigantic pain in the arse to initially set it up. I recall having to turn things on and plug them in, in a certain order but this now escapes me.
I've reset the airport express and set up the password and name again using the admin feature. I noticed that the airport express was not gathering the IP address information.
How do I fix this? I've looked on the apple website and it appears to be the same material that I have at home....
Why can't we just plug the airport express in, plug the CAT5 cable into the express and be on our way? It's that easy when you get a new Mac!
