windows media player not installing

So I tried to download windows media player because I cannot get quicktime to play in full screen mode. I cannot download media player for OSX because of an error called ".sitx"

I just bought this new Mac and I thought error messages were only for pc's...

Hello, ".sitx" isn't an error message. It's an archive. The file (Windows Media Player) is inside the .sitx. You can open the .sitx with Stuffit.

By the way, if I remember correctly, you need QuickTime "pro" to view in full screen.
Incidentally, Windows Media Player will not play QuickTime movies. Another option would be VLC Player.
