Webpage flips back to desktop every minute or so

It just happened now, in fact, when I started to type this sentence. I can't find any setting that controls this.
Especially annoying when it interrupts videos. There must be a simple solution, but I can't find it.

Not exactly sure what's going on, can you try to explain in more detail exactly what your issue is & what your Mac model & specs are, Mac OS X version etc.

Processor 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3

Need more? I can't explain any more than I have. The desktop reappears automatically.

So your browser is Quitting unexpectedly? What browser are you using?

Safari. It's not exactly quitting, it just goes back to the desktop every few minutes. I can get the webpage back by clicking the Safari icon, but this just started happening recently and I'd like to be able to make it stop.
