I have a 550mhz ppc G4 powerbook
running osx 10.4.11
768 Mb Ram
At some point last year all web based video such as iplayer, youtube started playing as a slow slideshow although audio is fine. This is the case for downloaded content as well as streaming.
I've read through loads of forums and haven't really come across any answers, although lots of people seem to have the same problem.
I've tried upgrading everything I can think of - flash, quicktime, realplayer, I've also tried downgrading flash to version 9, as someone suggested later versions don't run properly on the G4.
Nothing seems to make any difference. I'd really appreciate some advice as, although old, this laptop does everything else I need it to.
