Video overheat?

Hello Folks,

My disability causes me to be immobilized for hours at a time. With little else to do, I often watch YouTube. This causes my Windows 11 HP laptop to overheat. Would a Macbook Air be able to run videos for long periods without over heating?

Simple answer is yes. I have never witnessed a MacBook Air overheat and shutdown even when doing more complex tasks than watching videos.
