I'm hoping someone here might be able to help.
I used to be a video editor working on Macs with Final Cut in the UK 10 years ago before I had kids and then changed career to work in schools while they were young. So I feel like I am brand new to everything video-related again.
Being not particularly (ie not at all) savvy in tech-speak - I am just really confused by all the variations on offer. I could really do with some advice on which model and spec would best suit my purposes. The 16" models may exceed my budget but is it worth trying to stretch to it - will I see a big difference between this and a mid-range 13" model? I will be producing mainly short films, probably up to 30min max length. Unlikely to ever need to edit 4k or anything that large.
