Good afternoon everyone,
I opened my 21.5-inch iMac from 2012 to install an SSD drive. However, when I was about to close it, I noticed that the cable connecting the LCD to the motherboard was damaged. I ordered a new cable, and when it arrived, I tested it, and the iMac turned on, but there was a vertical line on the screen. Thinking it might be the cable, I returned it and received another new one. However, I realized that the problem was not with the cable. If the problem isn't with the cable, where else could it be?
Thank you.
